Elon Musk’s Tweet To Bernie Sanders Angers Netizens

Tesla CEO Elon Musk is in the news once again. This time Musk was not really appreciated. He was straight away called “vile”.

The twitter active, meme lover SpaceX CEO targeted U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders. “I’m forgetting that you’re still alive,” Elon Musk tweeted satirically to Bernie’s tweet on wanting the government to charge fair tax on the wealthy people.

A few days ago Musk also sold his Tesla shares after people told him to go ahead in a Twitter poll.

In response, US Senator Bernie Sanders indirectly tweeted, “We must demand that the richest pay their taxes regularly.”

Replying to this Musk’s tweet was neither friendly nor funny. He not only said that he had forgotten Bernie was alive but also asked whether Bernie Sanders wanted him to sell more shares and even went ahead and asked why Sanders didn’t ask him instead made comments on people’s tax payments.

Although Musk has now moved to Texas, where the state has no income tax, he admitted in a recent tweet that he is still paying income tax to the state of California. Because he still spends most of his time in the state of California.

Taxing the enormous wealth of billionaires is a huge part of Sander’s duties. Sanders, who chairs the Senate Budget Committee, proposed an annual tax on the wealthiest families in America, at 0.1 percent.
