Recently China has suspended multiple energy-related projects in Sri Lanka citing Indian pressure. The Dragon with this move has once again shown its aggressive stance against India.
Without accusing India directly China indirectly exposed the hidden conspiracy in front of the international community. With India’s firm decision to cancel a major project along the Sri Lankan coast, China has expressed outrage over such a decision. But in the end, it is India that has the upper hand in this case.

In January 2021, China-based Sino Source Hybrid Technology Company signed a mutually accepted agreement with Sri Lanka to set up a hybrid renewable energy system along the Jaffna coast in Delft, Nagadeepa, and the others. As per official sources, the project has now been called off and canceled.
The Sino source Chinese company on Thursday issued a decisive statement stating that it is canceling the energy project citing security concerns that may have been arrested from outside countries having their own hidden personal interests.
The Indian Objection and response were quick and prompt due to the fact that the archipelago on which China wants to set up its said energy project is very close to Tamil Nadu. Citing this reason the Indian protest was very loud and clear immediately after the announcement of the ambitious Chinese project. After Years of committed efforts and robust protest from India, The over-ambitious Chinese project has been finally canceled.
