Center stands by the pensioners with some good news for the senior citizens

In an effort to increase the range and scope of the digital India program. The Central Government has launched Unique Face Recognition Tech for pensioners. With this launch, the center has definitely eased the life of pensioners that faced hardships during matters of life certificates. The center’s decision is welcomed from all sections especially from the senior citizen’s group that are the direct beneficiaries of this technology thereby giving them a sigh of relief in tough times. 

This technology was launched during a period when the recipients of the respective pensions were required to submit their life certificates.  Union Aid Minister Jitendra Singh launched the Unique Face Recognition Technology which is solely dedicated for the betterment of pensioners.

In the past pensioners have repeatedly complained about the difficulties they face in the procedures relating to the matter of life certificates. In a quick response to such complaints,  the Ministry of Pensions has promptly launched a facility to digitally issue life certificates online.

 During his launch address, Union Aid Minister Jitendra Singh said that the government is focused and keen on addressing the challenges faced by the pensioners. Further, he said that the specialized digital face recognition technology will make it easier for pensioners to avail their services in a quick and responsive way. This technology will benefit 68 lakh, central government pensioners. 

EPFO said that the newly launched technology is also being implemented and used by the state governments. Minister, Jitendra Singh thanked the UIDAI along with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology for jointly developing the technology in a timely and effective manner with seamless execution of services.

The technology will benefit 68 lakh, central government pensioners. EPFO said the technology is also being used by state governments. Singh thanked UIDAI along with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology for developing this technology.
