The Mission Impossible series is one of the most anticipated Hollywood action movies that has kept the audience in peek for many years. The franchise started in 1996 with Tom Cruise portraying Ethan Hunt an agent who made the mission impossible, possible.
Tom’s action sequences and adventures in these movies keep the audience hooked since the actor himself performs all his stunts without any stunt double which is more pleasing and shows the audience his dedication towards the franchise.
Over the years the Mission Impossible franchise added more villain spins and glamour to its movies along with deadly action scenes. However, the upcoming films in this entertaining series have been postponed again, much to the disappointment of the fans.

So far 6 movies have come out in this series and entertained the audience immensely. Now it is known that 7, 8th installment of the movie series was set to release back-to-back.
The makers planned to release the 7th Mission Impossible movie in theaters in September 2021. The eighth film is set to release in July 2023. But these films are going to be further delayed due to the pandemic.
The film shooting had a lot of delay besides Tom Cruise was also in the light of controversy for yelling at the crew during the shooting for not maintaining social distance. The action star seemingly yelled multiple expletives at the set crew which humiliated the staff. Followed by Cruise’s lash many crew members quit the job since Cruise went out of line and was overreacting in the scenario.
Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions jointly said in a statement on Friday that the movies have been pushed forward.
After much deliberation, it was announced that the films would be postponed in the wake of the pandemic. It has been revealed that the 7th movie in the series will be released on July 14, 2023, and the 8th movie will be released on June 28, 2024. It remains to be seen whether these films will be released on the specified dates or will be pushed further in any case of pandemic effect.
