WHO Chief, Tedros States It Was A Premature Move To Rule Out Lab Leakage

The director-general of the World Health Organization Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has now reacted differently to China’s backlash over the deadly covid-19 case.

Right from the breakout of the virus people have been leashing on China’s back asking it to be transparent and not lie about the origin of the virus since China masked most of the pandemic situation and did not provide clear details on how the virus had spread and where it had come from. Although there were different theories none of them very rectified.

One of the popular theories at the time was that the virus had spread through a virologist who worked in the Wuhan lab. She had carried around the virus in the Wuhan’s seafood market and other places she had been not only that, but her boyfriend also acted in the role of transmission, but as days passed different theories started emerging and one after the other was dismissed.

When CIA said they had got hands on the documents dated back to 2016 stating that coronavirus was used as bioterrorism to destroy other country’s economies and healthcare rather than a natural pandemic. It made clear that the virus was genetically modified and was done on purpose, not on any accident.

After the constant persuasion of various countries and top scientist WHO gave a nod to another investigation in the Wuhan lab. While China was angry with the decision WHO did not back down as the director Tedros was blamed for favoritism.

While the investigations are still in place the director-general of the World Health Organization has spoken a bit cryptically.

 He said that it would be hasty if anyone denied that there was any connection between the epidemic and the leak from the lab. It was a premature move to look past the spillage of virus in the lab. According to the WHO chief.

He also added that research is ongoing to find out the origin of the virus.

He called on the Chinese government to be more transparent in determining the origin of the coronavirus.

When asked about the Chinese government’s mastermind behind it he said ” I worked as a lab technician. Served in the lab. Even as the immunologist. Accidents happen in labs. This is normal, “

This came out as a bit of a surprise for people since Tedros has never once spoken against China since the beginning of the pandemic.
