Last Monday, the prestigious fashion festival ‘Met Gala 2021’ was held in New York City. Sudha Reddy, a prominent industrialist, a philanthropist from Hyderabad, was the only Indian to attend the Met Gala this year.

Met Gala is a prestigious event that takes place in the Metropolitan Museum Of Arts on the first week of May last year’s Met Gala was canceled due to covid and this year due to the 3rd wave the gala was pushed to October and unlike other years the list of celebrities attending the gala had gone low. And the only Indian who attended the Met Gala this year was Sudha Reddy.
This year she wore a gown specially styled by Indian fashion designers Falguni and Shane to match the colors of the American flag to suit the theme of the gala ‘American Independence’.
The designers stood out for their milestone of spreading their wings in more and more countries. Last year they added Peacock to their name and created another successful design line.
