National Kabaddi Player, Rinku Jat Arrested For Smuggling Weapons

Police have arrested a national kabaddi player for smuggling weapons. Along with him, three others were also handed over to the police. The incident took place in Guna in Madhya Pradesh.

Police said 5 guns were seized from the accused. Arrested Rinku Jat is a national kabaddi player. He has previously played for the Dabangg Delhi team along with Pro Kabaddi League tournaments.

According to the police, the accused were traveling in a group from Guna to Shivpuri to smuggle weapons in a car. The group then reached the Maina Overbridge and blocked the route. After a while, the accused came to the other side of the car and stopped the car, and arrested the four occupants.

Police seized three additional magazines, including 5 pistol magazines, from the suspects. The accused told the court that the pistols were brought from Sigligars in Burhanpur. Police said a team was also sent there to arrest the people who were smuggling weapons after the accused provided information about the person who supplied them.

Rinku Jat was already identified as the Kabaddi player. He is a Haryana native who used to play in the professional Kabaddi league. Rinku Jat, according to police, is a national-level Kabaddi player who got into the illegal arms trade for fun and easy money.

Rampal Jat, Amir Khan, and Mahendra Rawat were named as the other three accused. While Rinku and Rampal live in Haryana’s Sonipat, Amir Khan and Mahendra Rawat live in Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri.
