Covid-19 Can become Twindemic

Another new dilemma for American physicians. Winter is happening in the country right now. In addition to coronavirus, the seasonal flu (cold) is also spreading rapidly considering the weather. Coronavirus, which is now considered as the covid-19 pandemic can turn into twindemic combining with the cold.

Experts say they are currently trying to assess cases of this type through mathematical models. He said the measures taken to fight covid-19 would also deter the flu.

The UK Health Service, meanwhile, announced on Saturday that it had given a booster dose to 20 million people in England over the past three weeks. Revealed that the most at-risk groups from covid-19‌ were selected and vaccinated.  

19,740 new coronavirus cases were reported in India on Saturday. This brings the total number of cases to 3,39,35,309. On the other hand, the number of active cases dropped to 2,36,643. This is the lowest number in the last 206 days. The number of those who recovered from the coronavirus has reached 3,32,48,291.

 Currently, the nationwide recovery rate is 97.98. The mortality rate was 1.33. Meanwhile, not a single covid-19 case has been registered in the Andaman and Nicobar Union Territory in the last 24 hours. Currently, there are only 10 active cases in this Union Territory.

The country has so far vaccinated over 94.62 crore doses. On the other hand, the Indian Ambassador to the United Nations TS Tirumurti said that India should get a supply of vaccine-making raw materials from all over the world. He said that in the wake of the growing momentum of vaccine manufacturing in India, it would help in providing vaccines to the world through the Covax program.

Vaccines will be provided in the fourth quarter of 2021 by the United Nations through the Vaccine‌ Alliance. Meanwhile, the daily death toll in Russia on Saturday was 968.

A three-year-old boy died after being infected with the deadly Ebola virus in Congo. Not a single case of Ebola has been reported in the Congo in the last five months. Earlier, six people died due to Ebola. The boy was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead on Oct. 6, authorities confirmed. He died of Ebola.
