Chinese Citizens Angry with Elon Musk

Recently a number of Chinese citizens have slammed Elon Musk online over space junk near-miss crash. Chinese citizens vilify Elon Musk, head of Tesla and SpaceX on multiple digital platforms.

The Chinese citizens for some reason are outraged by Elon Musk’s space travel expedition. Recently the SpaceX space junk flew past very the Chinese space station with a very close approximation.

It is well known that Elon Musk has brought forward the StarLink program that is aimed at offering satellite Internet services worldwide in a much more efficient and cheaper way. As of now, more than 42,000 StarLink satellites are set to be launched into space by the SpaceX space agency.

SpaceX with its current technological advancements has already launched more than 18 hundred Starlink satellites with its high-performance Falcon rockets. SpaceX in a phased manner has been sending Starlink satellites in stages.

Chinese Citizens outraged at SpaceX founder

As a part of the mission, the Chinese space agency reported to the UN on Monday, that the presence of a number of StarLink satellites could threaten China’s space station between the time period July 1 and October 21, 2021, constantly.

The Chinese space agency was on a high alert at the above-mentioned period of time. The Chinese space agency also said that the Chinese space station for a brief period of time was on threat since it narrowly escaped a major collision threat by the orbiting StarLink satellites.

The matter has just been highlighted in public short after China complained to the UN about the matter. As a result, Chinese citizens are upset about SpaceX and are collectively cracking down on the head of SpaceX on social media. 

While SpaceX did not respond to a request for comment from China. In a symbol of disagreement, Chinese netizens liked a post that compared the Starlinks Satellites to Space debris and furthermore the post described the Starlink satellites as “American Space Warfare Weapons.”
